BIO

An actor for over twenty years, Crystal committed to full time writing in 2014. She has had two MOW’s produced and is collecting awards (see below) for her screenplays and plays.

She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, 2009 and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from George Brown College, Toronto.

Crystal loves story editing as much as writing and has a knack for getting writers reconnected with their first impulses. Also known as a structure fiend,  she is sought out by her writing peers for editing and coaching on the regular. (see testimonials below)

Her non-fiction has been featured in magazines and periodicals such as The Tyee, The National Post, Equus, Prism, Fugue, Natural Horse and Dressage Today.

Crystal is currently the Lead Instructor for the Writing For Film & Television Program at InFocus Film School.
